Edgecore Networks has unveiled its latest lineup of access points, ushering in a new era of Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E technology to conquer diverse landscapes

The latest additions to Edgecore's AP arsenal—EAP111, OAP101, OAP102, and OAP101-6E—empower Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to explore an expanded array of applications.

Edgecore Networks launched its latest range of access points, embodying the resilience concept, including EAP111, OAP101, OAP102 and a Wi-Fi 6E access point, OAP101-6E. Picture a Wi-Fi solution tailored to meet and surpass the demands of ever-evolving environments. Introducing the concept of robust Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, Edgecore Wi-Fi amplifies its suite of access points, designed to master any terrain.

Edgecore redefines the boundaries of Wi-Fi 6 solutions, granting users heightened adaptability to their surroundings, ensuring unwavering, high-speed connections even in the most unpredictable scenarios. This adaptability proves indispensable for ISPs, MSPs, and various industry users tasked with deploying Wi-Fi networks in diverse landscapes.

The EAP111, a Wi-Fi 6 2×2 MU-MIMO access point, boasts an impressive aggregated data rate of up to 3Gbps. With a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio and ZigBee for IoT applications, the EAP111's innovative design, sporting an IP55 rating enclosure, accommodates seamless usage in both indoor and outdoor settings.

For outdoor scenarios, the OAP101 and OAP102, Wi-Fi 6 access points with 2×2 MU-MIMO, offer robust performance. The OAP102 goes further by supporting 4 x 4 MU-MIMO for the 5 GHz channel. Designed to endure harsh weather conditions in outdoor and industrial environments, both OAP101 and OAP102 feature IP66- and IP68-rated, rust-resistant housings and an exceptional wide-temperature range.

The OAP101-6E takes the spotlight as a tri-band Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 MU-MIMO outdoor access point, harnessing the potential of the 6 GHz spectrum. Engineered to withstand challenging weather conditions, it features an IP66- and IP68-rated, rust-resistant housing and an outstanding wide-temperature range. Rain, wind, or snow, users can count on consistent and reliable connectivity.

Wi-Fi 6E signifies a substantial leap beyond Wi-Fi 6, offering exclusive channels for improved wireless performance. With the OAP101-6E, service providers can optimize channel utilization, delivering high-speed.
